Rachel Henderson is a published Craft Author, Interior Artist and Upcycler, whose brand was born out of a love for creating vibrant and colourful textile home decor products. She runs a design studio based near Edinburgh in Scotland, where she produces bespoke designs and DIY content for clients including Cosatto, Mollie Makes, Valspar and Scotch Tape. She documents her crafty lifestyle on Instagram @therachelhendersonstudio where she has a consistently growing following of 137k.
With a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Textile Design & Surface Decoration, Rachel began her career working as a Design Consultant & Workshop Tutor and creating handmade products for several publications. Over the years she has authored and contributed to a range of popular craft titles sold worldwide.
Rachel has a passion for teaching and presenting, whether in front of a camera or a room full of people. She has hosted events and provided live demonstrations for a large number of clients including Scottish Television, the BBC, Kirstie Allsopp’s The Handmade Festival, The Ideal Home Show and The International Crafting and Hobby Fair.
Rachel was cast for Series 1 of BBC Scotland’s tv show ‘Scotland’s Home of the Year’ in which she came runner up on. She is a regular Artisan on the popular BBC One programme ‘Money for Nothing’. Most recently Rachel was cast for Scotland’s Real Estate Company ESPC’s TV Advertisement. Her designs have featured in a number of publications including Real Homes, Stella Magazine, CASA Facile and The Herald.
